‘I Hope The Rapport We Share Off Screen Doesn't Get Reflected On-Screen’, Says Sargun Mehta About Her Jindua Co-Actress Neeru Bajwa

The movie, Jindua, has been in limelight since the very first day of its announcement, majorly because of its star cast. Directed by Navaniat Singh, Jindua stars Jimmy Sheirgill, Neeru Bajwa and Sargun Mehta as the main leads and is all set to release on 17th March, 2017.

Now what’s interesting to watch is that the two ruling ladies of Pollywood are sharing the same screen space. Neeru Bajwa is the reigning queen of Punjabi Film Industry, and on the other hand is Sargun Mehta, a newcomer/newbie in the industry, who has successfully etched her name in the hearts of the people. The one thing common between these two is that both the leading ladies are uber-talented.

It will be pretty exciting to watch how the audience reacts to this combo.

Will they appreciate both the actresses individually in their respective roles or there will be a comparison between the two?

Speaking with Sargun Mehta about her off screen and on screen chemistry with Neeru, and whether both these actresses got into any cat fights on sets, here's what Sargun said,

"We could get a very limited time to spend with each other on the sets as we have only one scene together in the film, rather a song which we shot together. It was a 2 day shoot and we didn't get much time to talk."

She further added, "With an amiable personality that Neeru has, I felt extremely comfortable while interacting with her. Also, I am really fond of her and love watching her movies, rather she was the first actress whose work I saw in Punjab. Our interaction during the shoot was mainly about our respective cities. Infact, both my co-actors, Neeru Bajwa and Jimmy Sheirgill, have diverse experience in the film industry, yet they never made me feel conscious or uncomfortable. You do sometimes feel that they might be judgmental about your shots but they never made me feel nervous, rather both of them aren't even those types to make one feel uneasy around them."

She finished off with a warm smile by saying, "All in all, I would say that it was great working with Neeru and I also hope that the rapport that we share in real life does not get reflected on screen because we both are playing very different characters. The scene that we play is very beautiful and I expect that the audiences will love it as much as we loved enacting it."
