The local civil court has ordered the auction of Nishan Singh's (father of Punjabi singer Mankirat Aulakh) land in lieu of the litigation that was filed against them.
Nishan Singh is a resident of Bahabalpur and had taken money from a firm of Anajmandi. He has also paid a sum in the court but despite the above, the court has ordered that Nishan’s land be auctioned.
The case has been filed by an Anajmandi firm called Azad Kumar & Ashish Kumar, in which Nishan Singh was a patron. He had borrowed 6 lac rupees from that firm but failed to return the loan. The firm then filed a case against Nishan Singh. The case is pending in the court of Civil Judge Vikas Gupta.
According to the plaintiff, after calculation of all accounts, Nishan Singh had accepted that he had to pay the amount and he would pay it soon. Now, the amount of interest is about nine lakh rupees. When no amount was found, the case was filed in the court by the firm.
The court issued a notice to Nishan Singh, but he did not appear.
According to the order of the court, the land auction notice will be issued on 1st November. On November 20, the auction will be announced for the public. On December 6, the land will be auctioned and the status report will be submitted to the court on December 22.
It is also worth sharing here that besides this case there are other cases pending against Mankirat Aulakh and his father in Sirsa and Fatehabad courts for fraud.
