City Beautiful Chandigarh Now Has It's Own Anthem Called 'Chandigarh Meri Jaan'!
Chandigarh has already gained a lot of popularity because of it's beautiful self but now Chandigarhians have another reason to feel proud of their city.
Chandigarh now has it's own anthem!
The theme song for city's 51 st Establishment Day celebrations coming up from November 1 to 5 was released during a pre-event in Sector 17 on Saturday by the Mayor Asha Kumari Jaswal.
Titled 'Chandigarh Meri Jaan', this anthem is all about Chandigarh and it's many popular destinations and off course the people of this city. Called the new city anthem, it refers to Chandigarh's secular identity and the assimilation of Punjabi, Haryanvi, and some other cultures.
Bollywood singer Zeeshan and his troupe presented it at the piazza.
A series of pre- events have been planned to mark the occasion, which include a tree plantation drive, a blood donation camp, a marathon for women, a vintage car rally n many more surprises. The Event Chandigarh Establishment Day will showcase- A luxury lifestyle exhibition named Chandigarh Shopping Kaleidoscope, Chandigarh Auto Expo which will be a luxurious auto show, Real Estate Expo displaying the real estate projects, and a fashion show with a Bollywood showstopper to display the latest fashion trends. There will be a carnival for kids’ entertainment as well.
