The actor who was applauded for his performance in Akshay Kumar starrer Rustom has done quite many Hindi and Telugu films, but had shot for just one Punjabi flick which is till date awaiting release.
But we were curious to know about what happened to Himmat Singh and now that he is hosting the award ceremony is there a plan to come back to Pollywood?
Talking to GhaintPunjab exclusively Arjan said, “It’s an honor to host such a prestigious award ceremony. I feel happy that even though I have not been in touch with Punjabi industrythey still keep indulging me in ceremonies like these. It’s great that Filmfare is happening in Punjab and will surely uplift the industry."
About the movie Himmat Singh he said, "Himmat Singh got badly delayed from the Producer’s end. Baljit and I pushed the producers to a point but later when we saw that there was no effect even we left the product .Punjabi being my mother tongue I am surely coming back to the industry this year. I have signed two movies but I can’t reveal them right now."
Himmat Singh was a 2014 film which is already 3 years late and Arjan had essayed the character of an underground fighter in it. It was directed by ace cinematographer turned director Baljit Singh Deo.
