After the historic win at 95^th Academy Awards, producer Guneet Monga recently visited Golden Temple along with her husband, Sunny Kapoor, Chef Vikas Khanna and his mother. A video of their warm visit was posted on social media handle by the celebrity chef in collaboration with Monga and is winning hearts.

Vikas Khanna’s mother had promised two months back that if Guneet Monga wins the Oscar (for “The Elephant Whisperers) this year, she would drive her to the Golden Temple in Amritsar to pay their respects.

In yet another video shared, Vikas Khanna and his mother can be seen welcoming Guneet and her family at the Amritsar airport amid much fanfare. Receiving a warm welcome with music, rose petals and sweets, Guneet was seen extremely happy dancing in joy. As a matter of fact, the Oscar for ‘The Elephant Whisperers’ in the category of Best Documentary Short Subject is not Guneet Monga’s first Oscar. The ace producer had won the award as a co-producer for the documentary short film ‘Period: End of Sentence’ directed by Iranian-American filmmaker Rayka Zehtabch in 2019.
