Life Ok will soon be telecasting a show based on the life of the last Sikh ruler of Punjab - Maharaja Ranjit Singh and the show will be called "Sher-E- Punjab: Maharaja Ranjit Singh".

14 year old Damanpreet Singh will seen playing the title character and what's even more exciting is that he'll also be seen in Kapil Sharma's home production - Firangi.

Dampreet shared his experience about dabbling between the film and the TV show. He said in a statement, "Yes, I am doing the show ‘Maharaja Ranjit Singh' along with the movie, which is produced by my favourite comedian Kapil Sharma. Just when I got little time off from the show, I flew to Chandigarh for the shoot of the movie."



He shared that he was offered the show in the middle of my film. Hence, one last portion of the film was remaining.

"It is because of Kapil Sharma that I could do both. So when I got two days off from the show, I immediately flew to Chandigarh to finish the film," he signed off.
