Yet another day, yet new film announcement!

A new Punjabi film has recently been announced on social media which is titled, ‘Gudiya’. The film is going to star a fresh star cast of Aarushi Sharma, Sawan Rupowali and Yuvraj Hans in the lead roles.

Jointly directed by Rahul Chandre and Gourav Soni, the film will also star Shivendra Mahal, Sunita Dheer, Vindu Dara Singh and Samaira Naira in important roles. The story, screenplay and dialogues of the film are also written by Gourav Soni. The update about the film is shared by the team on their respective social media handles. Yuvraj quoted the post along with the caption, “It’s a first ever Horror Punjabi film. The poster of the film produced by Gargi Chandre and Rahul Chandre, surely gives those chills and horrific vibes with a dark theme. The background of the poster features a girl (ghost) hanging on the tree probably in a forest with a blood shell all over the place. However, at one point we contradict with the makers where they state that its going to be the first Punjabi horror film as several films in the horror genre have been made earlier. No doubt, the genre is yet least explored in the industry and the films which are made earlier went unnoticed. So, here we hope that this team brings something interesting with this one and becomes a magnum opus project for the genre.
