A couple of months back, the news about the health of Punjabi singer Balwinder Safri of Safri brothers had emerged where it was revealed that he was in a coma after undergoing surgery in a hospital based in Wolverhampton. Furthermore, it had also come to light that the 63-year-old had suffered brain damage following which the hospital was preparing to switch off the dialysis machine he was on after his Kidney’s failed.
The singer was admitted to the hospital in April earlier this year for triple bypass surgery.

In the latest update shared by the singer’s family, it has been revealed that Safri, after getting discharged from the critical care unit has now been moved to the rehabilitation unit, whereby staff will help him to start using his muscles to help him to start moving his arms, legs, stand and give him the support tools to help him to walk. For the unversed, Balwinder Safri has been a part of the UK bhangra scene since 1980, forming the Safri Boyz Band in 1990. The band is known for superhit songs including, ‘Raahe Raahe Jaan Waliye’, ‘Mere Dil Te Alana Paya’ and many more.
