It was his writing style that distinguishes him from everyone else. He always promoted Punjabi cultural and traditional writing style. His songs include Ki chahunda mundeya, Jatt diyan gallan, Jee nee lagda, Sarpanchi and several others. His songs were loved by most of the people. Sema was born in a small village near Ludhiana named Talwandi Raikot, Tehsil Raikot. He did his schooling from a government school in his village and later moved to Ludhiana for his graduation but couldn’t complete his studies because of his father’s demise. Despite all the issues, he continued writing. He introduced Harjit Sidhu in the industry and did his remarkable works with him.
