After Hobby Dhaliwal and Kulwinder Billa, now, Punjabi lyricist Jaani has been tested positive for COVID19. The artist resides in Homeland Heights in Mohali, which has been sealed for outsiders after 5 cases got reported from there.
A High Court judge, Jaani and 3 others have been tested positive in this high profile residential complex situated in the heart of Mohali.
With the rising number of COVID19 cases, Punjab now has crossed a mark of 31,000 confirmed cases out of which 19,431 have recovered and 812 people have lost their life. In Mohali, the number of confirmed cases is 1732.
According to a fresh report, Ludhiana has turned Punjab's COVID capital with the state’s tally of case count at 6,500 as well that of fatalities at 226 till Saturday. What makes the situation even more alarming is the fact that Ludhiana also has the highest number of active cases (2,028).
Kulwinder Billa had recently given his health update via his social media handle but no update has come in from Hobby Dhaliwal's end. As a matter of fact, some people had even circulated the fake news of Hobby's passing away.
For now, Jaani's social media profiles have no confirmation regarding his health but we truly hope that this talented lyricist fights this deadly disease and emerges as a winner.
Punjabi artists living in Homeland are often seen teaming up these days for live sessions or workout regimes, here's hoping we don't hear more 'positive' news coming in!
