Manmeet Singh and Harmeet Singh, jointly known as the Meet Bros in the music field have established themselves as successful music producers who have given the music lovers some of the biggest hits. But not many must be aware of the fact that both these brothers had started their career as actors.
Both of them had acted in serials like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Shagun and more. The elder one, Manmeet, had also acted in a Punjabi serial. He got married to TV Actress Karishma Modi in the year 2002.
Post marriage, the real-life couple appeared together in a Punjabi film 'Main Tu Assi Tusi'. It was the production of the former Hindi film actress Rameshwari and her producer husband Deepak Seth. The film was directed by Mushtaq Pasha and was based on William Shakespeare’s play 'The Comedy Of Errors'.
'Main Tu Assi Tusi' failed to click with the audience. Manmeet and Harmeet, later on, shifted their focus on music and delivered some great songs, besides the fact that the duo never took any formal training in music.
They started with the forgettable Rajshri film 'Isi Life Mein' in the year 2010, but it was 'Baby Doll Main Sone Di' which gave them recognition in the music field. Since then, there has been no looking back for them. Meet Bros have churned out hits like Chittian Kalaiaan (Roy), Ek Paheli Leela, Race 3, Raabta, Dream Girl, etc.
Ever since Meet Bros entered the music field, they never tried to return to their acting career. Manmeet and Karishma were even offered Dance Show Nach Balliye not for once, but thrice. But due to the busy musical career of Meet Bros, they were unable to accept the offer.
