Punjabi Singer Arrested For Violating Lockdown Rules!

Amidst the lockdown, Punjabi singer Gagandeep Singh Sandhu and his three friends have been booked by Zirakpur Police. They were booked for violating the rules during the ongoing lockdown in Punjab. The singer has been accused of roaming around in his Range Rover on VIP Road without a valid reason. He was accompanied by his friends and this has been on for the last many days. The singer had been issued verbal warnings twice before but he managed to escape by giving excuses over an urgent piece of work. 

According to reports, while patrolling on the VIP Road, the singer was yet again spotted roaming around aimlessly and on seeing the police car, tried to flee. The PCR vehicle followed the car and arrested them.

On asking the reason for leaving home, his unconvincing replies landed him in trouble. Zirakpur Station House Officer (SHO), Inspector Gurwant Singh has been quoted saying that none of the four men were wearing a mask, nor did they seem to be serious about the ongoing pandemic in the world. 

Police have booked the singer and his three friends for violation of lockdown rules and have arrested them. 

The accused include Punjabi singer Gagandeep Singh Sandhu, Rampura Phul's Amritpal Singh, Maluka's Sunpreet Singh and Gurjinder Singh from SAS Nagar.
