Punjabi singer Sippy Gill was booked on Saturday by Punjab Police for his song 'Gundagardi'. The case was registered in Moga district's Mehna police station on the complaint of Pandit Rao Dharennavar.

A similar case was registered last month against Sidhu Moosewala and Mankirt Aulakh for their song 'panj golian' that went viral on social media.

A tweet by the CM of Punjab Captain Amarinder Singh stated that the government would not allow any movie seeking to promote violence or gangsters. Amidst this row, even Shooter got banned for glorifying the life of gangster Sukha Kahlon.
