Born on February 5 1953, Bhajna Amli, originally named Gurdev Singh Dhillon has been a part of the Punjabi entertainment industry from a long time. He has performed his comic acts globally and has promoted his non-partisan humour through stand up comedy, dressed in a simple yet desi look.
Recently, while performing at one of his shows, Gurdev Singh suffered a paralytic attack.The attack struck when Gurdev was performing at a mela in a village named Chakk Pakhi in Fazilka district of Punjab. According to reports the artist was performing a comic act when suddenly his condition deteriorated.
His co-artist took charge and made him sit on a chair after which he was admitted to a hospital in Jalalabad. It has been reported that Singh will soon be referred to Ludhiana for further medical treatment.
