The Punjab and Haryana Court has barred singers and performers from singing stage songs promoting weaponry, alcohol, and violence but not paying heed to this order of the court, Parmish Verma and Sunanda Sharma recently performed at an event on Zirakpur-Ambala Road and have now gotten themselves in trouble.
A complaint has been filed against the above-mentioned singers in Zirakpur police station by Pandit Rao Dhannervar. It is worth mentioning here that a while ago, Pandit Rao was offered a written apology by Sunanda for her song 'Patake' but the singer seems to be singing it at the events even after the apology.
According to reports, Pandit Dhannervar, in his complaint, wrote that Sunanda's song Patake and Parmish's 4 Peg were both not supposed to have been sung on stage. These songs impact the youth in a negative way and the court has clearly barred singers from singing such songs. Hence, the singers have violated court orders. Dhannervar demanded strict action against Sunanda and Parmish for contempt of court.
The police are investigating the matter.
A similar complaint was filed against RNait by Pandit Rao recently.
