Have a look at the trailer and then read our take on it :
Review: The trailer starts from where the movie ended. They show how Sikander survived a near-death experience in the prequel and is back but he's away from politics. Soon the focus shifts to the university elections yet again and this time Guri takes the front foot of a young innocent boy who doesn’t really know how mucky the student politics is. The story moves forward and we see that the actresses have little to do in it. Yet, it seems gripping and interesting. Talking about performances, Guri who is a debutant fits well in the newbie university student role who is lured by guns and guts. He seems to be a good pick for this one.
Kartar Cheema has a rugged look, his scenes in the movie take us back in time when he was raw yet he fitted well in the character. Though few expressions seem missing in his emotional scene. Sawan Rupowali has little to do in the trailer, her act would be seen once the movie is out. The other actress opposite Guri, Nikeet Dhillon also seems to have little to do in the movie.
Overall the movie will presumably show student politics getting dirtier and muckier this time. In the era when we are watching quite a few romcoms, this action thriller has excited us. Also, we are glad that the makers didn’t just use the title to attract attention but they've started the story from where they left it last time, thus this one is a true sequel. Sikander has set the standard high for this one. It surely had more experienced actors like Gul Panag and Manav Vij, let’s see how these newcomers take the story forward.
