The international collaboration 'Slowly Slowly' by Guru Randhawa and Pitbull has hit the internet today and we as Punjabis are so damn proud of our Gurdaspur da munda who has made it this big.
The 'Khat' singer must have never thought that his journey would take him to such heights and that's where the fun lies right..jado pta hee na lagge zindagi kiven badal jaye.
The song 'Slowly Slowly' has been shot in Miami and is Pitbull's second collaboration with an Indian artiste after Priyanka Chopra Jonas, but definitely his first for a Punjabi song!
This song marks Guru Randhawa's maiden international collaboration and not only has the singer connected with the American rapper on a professional level, he says that he also felt connected to him at a human level.
"Our world is different... I am singing a Punjabi dance number with my signature style and Pitbull sir is adding his rapping style. So yes, it is exciting. Earlier, sir had collaborated with Priyanka Chopra but that was an English song. But mine is Punjabi. I am so glad that I am representing my country for the global audience through this song... I am excited, I really am," he added.
Now that Guru has got a taste of international collaborations, he says that this creative exchange is exciting and he now wants to collaborate with Bruno Mars!
Well, why not bro..all that you need is the right move and the required budget and we'll soon see Bruno Mars shaking a leg to some Punjabi beats too.
