Punjabi singer Maninder Manga who was hospitalised since the last few days has passed away today. The reason for his death is assumed to be multiple organ failure. Manga was admitted due to severe jaundice but his condition worsened and his jaundice started affecting the other body parts as well.
He was on a ventilator for the last couple of days. Earlier he was admitted to a hospital in Ludhiana but was soon shifted to PGIMER Chandigarh. He is survived by his wife and two daughters. The cremation will take place at his village Khizrabaad, Ropar.
As a singer, he first got into limelight with his album Poonia. Since then he has released many albums and sang duets with Miss Pooja, Sudesh Kumari, Gurlez Akhtar besides others. Gypsy, Taraala, Taveet, Chadran, Tiaan, Sonalika, Lalkara to name a few, were some of his popular tracks, He last came out with a single titled Lottery which released in the year 2018.
