Hardevinder Singh Sandhu, a passionate young right arm fast bowler of Punjab state team, who had earned a substantial amount of praise for his game by then, was hit by an unfortunate injury in his teenage years. Eventually, that injury not only shattered all his cricketing dreams but also pushed him and his ambitions into the dark.
But like always, destiny was busy paving new roads for him thus he started taking interest in music and his interest took him to Shri Nirmal Singh. It is from him that Harrdy learned classical and folk music for almost 18 months. His first album ‘This is Hardy Sandhu’ couldn’t garner much praise and attention from the Punjabi audience but this didn't stop him from chasing his dreams.
His track ‘Social’ which was released in the year 2014 made him ‘The Hardy Sandhu’ from Hardevinder Singh Sandhu. Since then, he has been delivering chartbusters like Kya Baat Ay, Naah and Joker almost every year on a streak.
Surprising as it may sound, Harrdy revealed this trivia in a recent interview with a leading TV channel.
Harrdy said he started adoring Sonali after he watched her in the movie ‘Dehak’. He also admitted that even though he has left cricket, the game is still his first love and is very special for him because becoming a cricketer was his childhood dream.
Talking about his collaboration choice, Harrdy said he is quite open about his collaborations and has neither any specific choice nor any reservation because he loves to do quality music compositions as it is the music that counts ultimately. About his Bollywood plans, He revealed that he has offers from the industry and some of those offers are still in the pipeline.
