Synopsis: Nikka Zaildar 3 is the story of a rural family which comprises of a man and wife and their kids and grandkids. The man is shown to be a miser and his entire family lives under constant poverty, besides being wealthy and rich. Once, during a bus journey, the man dies and after his last rites, the family decides to ease off and live a better life. But, the man's wife suddenly becomes a control freak and thus everyone is again pushed towards living their life according to her terms. Amidst this, one of the grandchildren decides to fool the family by pretending that he's been obsessed by the ghost of his late grandfather. The family believes him and he's taken to all sorts of godmen for exorcism and more practices. Ultimately he falls in love with the daughter of one of the godmen and even gets engaged to her but this love story stands at a point where he chooses to take a back step and think again. Why does this happen is for you to watch.

Review: After delivering 2 hits under this franchise, expectations from the third one were also pretty high. From the trailer, we had assumed that this film will present something unique besides just a love story but nothing really worked for us in Nikka Zaildar 3.

The film is an exaggerated product that's probably been dragged intentionally to provoke giggles but it fails to do so. It starts with Wamiqa and Nikka's cringe-worthy love story and then suddenly gets too loud. Here, you'll enjoy the 'soap scene' and that's all that it had for us to laugh. Right after this, there's an extremely long sequence of the grandfather's last ceremonies which is intended to entertain but it just doesn't. After this, there's Nirmal Rishi's transformation with unwanted angles dead close to her face for no real reason and then Ammy's drama as the grandfather.

Ammy's raw act in his films has always been his charm but this time, he probably went a little too far with his dialogue repetition and unwanted dramebaazi. Ehna zayda di lorh nahi si..he could have acted like his usual self and won over us but he's either been misguided for performing comically in a specific manner or he himself overdid his bit.

Wamiqa Gabbi was a complete miss for us in this film. Neither was she looking pretty nor was her act impressive. Her melodramatic character made her relevance in the film even weaker. Rather, Sonia was comparatively far better, in terms of looks in the film and her role too. She had at least got something substantial to do rather than get off the bus and then get on it or simply dance to irrelevant songs.

All the other actors tried too hard to carry the burden of this weak story and screenplay but none could really do anything to make this film any better. The story was neither haunting nor funny and left many questions in our mind. The screenplay was unimpressive and extremely dragged and the dialogues were too repetitive. A directionless film, Nikka Zaildar 3 was quite a disappointment to watch and the end was the worst part of it.

Verdict: If you're expecting to see Ammy's crude magic in this rural drama then chances are that you'll be left unimpressed and upset.

Rating: 1.5/5 (Chado pra no need to watch it)
