Three back to back films have been postponed this month due to Censor Board certificate delay and all the hype around these projects seem to have faded down. Though the teams are trying hard to keep up the charm of their films but the impact of a pushed forward date shows clearly.
Earlier, Ammy Virk & Monica Gill starrer Sat Shri Akal England, which was supposed to release on 17th November, got postponed due to a delay in receiving a censor certificate and till now the team hasn't shared any update on the new release date. Soon we heard that Firangi, Monica Gill's debut Hindi Film with Kapil Sharma, which was scheduled to release on 24 November has also been pushed forward to 1rst December due to the same reason.
The CBFC has not given a green signal for release of Punjabi movie Bhagat Singh Di Udeek and as a result release of the film, scheduled for November 24, has also been postponed.
Well..the audience loses interest in the film and that's exactly what seems to be happening in the above mentioned cases too. Though we truly hope that these films emerge as box office winners but such delays do cause damage at the ROI end.
Is there something the makers can do about it?
