Gippy Grewal is riding high on success and why not, this man has been delivering hits after hits in the Punjabi industry. With his own production house and now a music label well in place, he is set to make a strong foothold in b-town.
Though Lucknow Central has been getting mixed response from the audiences but Gippy's acting has been well appreciated. Seems like the Bollywood makers are finally recognising his potential and in lieu of that Gippy has been offered his third Bollywoof film which has even been signed by him now.
His Bollywood debut Second Hand Husband (2015) was a bad one but Lucknow Central got him quite some attention. According to sources, his third will be a solo-hero project and will be produced by Nikkhil Advani (Emmay Entertainment).
Earlier, reports were that Nikkhil was planning to make a film on Operation Bluestar, which he later shelved because he felt the subject matter could be too controversial. He even bounced the idea to Gippy Grewal, who was too scared to even listen to it.
“We are very close to Gippy, who is in Lucknow Central, when we told him about the idea, he said ‘I am leaving from here.’ It’s an event that should be documented. When I went to Amritsar, I couldn’t believe this was the place which was under siege. But it’s very controversial," said he in a statement.
