Did This Punjabi Actress Deny The Lead Role Of Rocky Mental After Reading It's Male Oriented Script?
A while ago, the debut Punjabi movie of music video director turned actor Parmish Verma hit the big screen. Though it couldn't earn big bucks at the box office but it surely proved a worthy debut for Parmish, who is now planning it's sequel.

Punjabi actress Monica Gill who was seen in films like Ambarsariya, Kaptaan and Sardaarji 2 was earlier approached for Rocky Mental but she denied the the role after reading the script.
Well, we don’t really know the reason for her denying the movie but just speculating that maybe she din't find the role too strong in the movie. Monica has always been vocal about doing good character roles in movies and not just being a beautiful actress who dances around or is merely there in the movie for the sake of it. Maybe she didn’t find much challenge or substance in the role!

Waise..presently she is shooting for her next titled Punj Khaab which is a woman centric subject and according to her, after the film releases, many perceptions about her acting talent will change for the better.
