The combination of experimental actors like Gippy Grewal, Farhan Akhtar, Deepak Dobriyal, Ronit Roy and Rajesh Sharma in itself was something worth waiting for and after seeing the freshly released trailor of upcoming Bollywood flick "Lucknow Central", we are way more excited than before for this movie.
A Ranjit Tiwari Directorial, "Lucknow Central" is the story of "Kishen Mohan Girhotra", a young man who belongs to Moradabad and gets accused of a murder which lands him Lucknow Central Jail where he awaits his High Court trail for a death penalty. Diana Penty plays the role of a diligent NGO worker who is compelled to form a band of prisoners for the band competition to be held in the jail.
Kishen befriends four jail inmates and convinces them to join the band. Gippy Grewal happens to be one amongest those four to form a band. It will be worth while to see how the life of these five jail inmates progresses and how music becomes the intricate of their journey.
Gippy Grewal opened up on his social media that this movie is quite special for him as working with Farhan was his dream. He also said that he has acted in this movie only for Farhan Akhtar.
Releasing on 15th September, Lucknow Central features Gippy Grewal as a rugged looking Sardar Ji named Parminder Singh Gill. It is worth while to mention that Gippy has been primarily doing roles that are experimental and bring out the best in him as an actor. The latest announcement titled "Subedar Joginder Singh" seems to be yet another winning effort.
