At present Diljit is busy promoting his upcoming flick Super Singh and yeah did you know that he could land in trouble for promoting dog fights??
Eh ta dsea hee nahi tuhanu..well..Remember Diljit's song titled 'Jatt Fire Karda'??
The song shows the singer handling some pit bulls, and its lyrics apparently promoted dog fights. Ik line si na usch which went like, "Rakhe fight nu vi Pit bull chaar ni (Have kept four pit bulls for fighting)"..bus ese te he could land in legal trouble.
Some animal activists have created a Facebook page "Exposing Animal Fights in India," where Diljit and a fellow singer Kamal Grewal's song videos have also been uploaded, along with many other dogfight videos.
It has been reported that arranging dog fights is much common in some areas of Punjab and Haryana. Dogs like pit bull, bulldog, and other big dog breeds are reportedly trained in a way to be so ferocious that they would kill other dogs in fights.
Some complaints against the two singers have already been forwarded to the Animal Welfare Board of India, alleging that the song videos promote animal cruelty, according to India Today. The report also said that Kamal had responded to one of the FB posts saying, "How can a song, which is itself named Sarkari Ban be banned by the authorities". Diljit, however, has not reacted to the controversy yet.
