Manisha Koirala's comeback film 'Dear Maya' is being eagerly awaited by her fans and while the wait is still on, the World Punjabi Organisation decided to honour the Producer of the movie Raju Chadha.
Raju Chadha is also the chairman of Wave Group and the event took place at Taj Palace Hotel in Delhi over the weekend in the presence of Sikh personalities from various social spheres, which included leading businessmen, lawyers, social workers, bureaucrats and other prominent people.
Dr Chadha said, “It’s a great honour for me to be felicitated by the World Punjabi Organisation and I shall treasure this evening forever. The recent conferment of honorary Doctorate in oriental heritage upon me was indeed a big honour and a tribute to my efforts in doing community work and that of the larger interests of humanity, though my motive has purely been my selfless pursuit of social giving. As pointed by our Sikh gurus… cruelty, material attachment, greed and anger are the four rivers of fire, and falling into any one of them, one is burnt. Hence abstain from the above and lead a righteous life.”
‘Dear Maya’ is all set to hit the screens on June 2, 2017 and marks the directorial debut of Sunaina Bhatnagar. The movie also introduces two fresh faces in the form of Shreya Singh Chaudhary and Madiha Imam.
