Woah! You Won't Believe What Guru Randhawa's Real Name Is
I was going through a recent article about this buzzing Punjabi turned Bollywood singer Guru Randhawa and came across his real name but couldn't really digest it so thought I'd share it with you..fer shayad hazam hojavey gal!
Baiji...did you know that Guru Randhawa's real name is Gursharanjot Singh Randhawa! (Whaaaaat???)
Jeah!
He was born in Punjab’s Nurpur, Dera Baba Nanak Tehsil in district Gurdaspur and surprisingly was never interested in being into the music industry.
His inspiration came from legendary artists like Gurdas Maan whom he loved seeing performing on Doordarshan. Babu Maan, Gurdas Maan from Punjab and Arif Lohar, Shehzad Roy and Abral-ul-Haq sahab from Pakistan heavily inspired him.
He only wanted to be on TV, which was a big deal during those days and now this man is on TV All the time!
That's hard work and destiny going hands in hands..what say! But gal jo vi hovey, we're really happy with his success and wish him all the very best for his future projects.
By the way he'll soon be travelling to Los Angeles for his next.
