Pro short film maker Navtej Sandhu's 2016 film Gawachi Pagg has been selected for screening at this year's Cannes Short Film Corner.

Cannes will be celebrating it's 70 years this time and what a proud moment it is for us Punjabis that not one but 2 Punjabi short films (Gawachi Pagg and Chamm) have made their way to this prestigious Film Festival.

Gawachi Pagg revolves around a young boy who loses his turban in a hustle bustle at Shri Harmandir Sahib, a few days after the controversial, operation Blue Star.
