Ssumeir Pasricha who is popularly known for her funny character Pammi aunty was in the town for the first ever Punjabi Filmfare awards.

With that towel and rollers over her head she made a sparkling entry on the red carpet. We love his work and he just knows how the typical Punjabi saas cribs all day about her bahus and how the typical Punjabi aunties keep getting bothered by each and every thing around them.

Very curious about his Punjabi connection, we gave him a call and asked now that he is all over the place in Punjab does he plan to work in Punjabi movies?

Enthusiastically a YES! came flashing as a reply and he further added,"I would love to work in Punjabi movies provided someone offers me one. I am more than happy to come to Pollywood.”

To this we giggled and asked, "Do you even watch Punjabi movies?"

"Of course, I do but not all of them. I watch Diljit’s movies. I am an ardent fan of Diljit and absolutely love what he does. I have seen Jatt and Juliet which is my all time favorite and many more of his movies."
