A Look Back At Amrinder Gill’s Firsts!

Singer turned actor Amrinder Gill is one of the soulful and melodious singers we’ve in the industry. In a career span of more than two decades, the singer has delivered some really amazing projects which paved his path directly to the hearts of millions. Despite enjoying a mammoth amount of stardom, the singer turned actor continues to lead a lowkey life away from social media and all the controversies. One can only find work related posts on his Instagram account nevertheless it is his work which speaks for him.

Gill hailing from village Boorchand, Amritsar always wanted to be an actor and would always imitate scenes in front of the mirror. He was part of actor and singer Sarbjit Cheema’s Bhangra team also. A post-graduate in Agricultural Science from Guru Nanak Dev University, Gill before his singing debut had worked as a manager for the Ferozepur Central Cooperative Bank. HIS DEBUT TRACK:

It was in the year 1999, Amrinder sang his first song ‘Sanu Ishq Ho Gaya’ for a Jalandhar Doordarshan’s program ‘Kala Doria’ but he credited the song to Rhythm Boyz. Next year in 2000, he went on to release his debut studio album which was titled, ‘Apni Jaan Ke’, produced by Sukhpal Sukh, and was released by Goyal Music.

HIS DEBUT MOVIE:

After a decade of singing career, the singer finally lived his dream of becoming an actor through Manmohan Singh’s, ‘Munde U.K. De’ which was released back in 2009. Though, he played a supporting role but still before making his debut, he attended acting classes from ‘‘Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute’ which is in Mumbai. A year later, Amrinder Gill once again collaborated with Manmohan Singh for ‘Ik Kudi Punjab Di’ where Jaspinder Cheema featured opposite him. (BTW, IT’S A MUST WATCH FILM)

HIS PRODUCTION COMPANY:

After films, Gill ventured into film production as well in the year 2013 with his brother, Karaj Gill as he started his own Punjabi production company, ‘Rhythm Boyz’. HIS DIRECTORIAL DEBUT:

Well! Well! Now after all the news which recently has got everyone excited is his directorial debut which he is soon going to mark with ‘Challa Mud Ke Nahi Aaya’ which is all set to hit the theatres on July 29.
