Did You Know John Abraham’s Debut Was With Punjabi Songs!

The ‘Jism’ fame, John Abraham has not only created a name for himself from scratch, but he has also maintained that standard.

Abraham is not just a model and actor but has also worked his way up to the status of producer in Bollywood. His list of hit films includes ‘Jism’ (2003- his debut), ‘Dhoom’ (2005), ‘Garam Masala’ (2006), ‘Dostana’ (2008), ‘New York’ (2009), ‘Desi Boyz’ (2011) and ‘Madras Cafe’ (2013) among others. But did you know that the Bollywood superstar actually began his career from Punjabi music videos?

Yes, you read it right! John Abraham the Bollywood heartthrob actually began his modeling career from popular singer Jazzy B’s 2000 song ‘Surma’. The song directed by Sukshinder Shinda, written by the lyricist Satinder Kala USA and sung by Jazzy B was a fan favorite at the time. After that, he began modeling in advertisements abroad. However, he featured in another Punjabi song along with Hans Raj Hans in his song ‘Jhanjhar’ which was released in 2009. The song had a fun and romantic vibe.
