March will bring a fresh start to Kapil Sharma's TV career because he is making a comeback and this time he will not be doing a comedy show.
2017 has been rough for Kapil as his show went off air and his much hyped film Firangi also couldn't draw numbers at the box office. It also didn't do much for Monica Gill as it was supposedly her debut Bolly flick. Firangi was a Hindi period action-comedy drama which starred Kapil Sharma, Monica Gill and Ishita Dutta, who got married during the promotions of this film. It was written and directed by Rajiev Dhingra and Kapil Sharma was the producer.
It's good to see that Kapil has evolved and will now be seen making new beginnings. His new show will be aired on Sony TV.
According to a report in Spotboye.com, in the promo Kapil is seen making fun of his unemployment phase.
The promo of this new show Kapil's made cribbing over his unemployment. She reminds him of his pending bills and even complains that she has her dues to be cleared. She also says that she's tired of washing his clothes without a detergent soap. While the duo talk, the phone bell rings and their conversation is interrupted. The call is from Sony TV and right after finishing this call, Kapil tells her that it doesn't take time for destiny to change.
Seems to us that Kapil is geared up to make a fresh start with this show, which, according to reports, is a game show in which he will host celebrities as also people from ordinary middle-class families. A friend of the comedian revealed that the comedian will do a game show but that won’t be on the line of Amitabh Bachchan’s Kaun Banega Crorepati. The format will be new, which was still not seen in television. The idea behind the show is to have some fun while taking some prizes home. Participants will be offered prizes ranging from pressure cooker to luxury car.
Some time back, Kapil had announced that he will be coming back to TV with a new season of The Kapil sharma Show after the release of his home production Firangi but now things seem to have taken a turn.
Nonetheless, his fans must be excited to see him in TV again.
