Oops! Punjabi Actress Diljott Not In Jimmy Sheirgill Starrer 'Veerey Ki Wedding'!
Punjabi model turned actor Diljott, who was to make her Bollywood debut with Jimmy Sheirgill starrer 'Veerey Ki Wedding' is evidently not in the film anymore!
After a lot of speculation over the title, finally the film moved forward and while we expected a pink saree clad Diljott romancing Jimmy in the trailer, but to our surprise, the actress stood nowhere in the trailer and according to sources she's been replaced with Payal Rajput, who was last seen in Channa Mereya.
The film, which initially featured Jimmy Sheirgill and Diljott, was to mark Diljott's debut in Bollywood but alas!
Reports state that the leading lady Kriti Kharbanda (who is paired opposite Pulkit) was so happy with the film's script that she asked her agent not to negotitate the deal with the makers as she didn't want to lose out on the role.
The trailer of 'Veerey Ki Wedding' has been released and it looks pretty interesting. This Bollywood rom-com which is directed by Ashu Trikha and written by Dilip Shukla, also stars Pulkit Samrat, Satish Kaushik, Supriya Karnik, Rajesh Bakshi, Yuvika Choudhary in pivotal roles.
