Punjabi lyricist Devinder Benipal breathed his last yesterday in his hometown Patiala.

Devinder has a lot of hit Punjabi songs like in his kitty like Lehmber Hussainpuri's '12 boran da', 'love ho gya' by Satvinder Bitti, 'Jhoothiyan raptan' by Daljit Bittu and more. 

Punjabi music lovers grieve his demise.
