We have been hearing a lot about Rohit Jugraj's Bollywood connection with a film starring Sanjay Dutt and though not much was being talked about it in recent times but here's an update for you to follow.
Recently, Rohit was roped in for Diljit and Kriti starrer Arjun Patiala and we managed to het our hands on some scoop from the other project too. While talking to Rohit about his Sanjay flick we got to know that this one will also be based on the battle of Saragarhi, a subject the industry is currently chipkoed to!
Rohit elaborated, "The project was planned in 2008 and was based on the Battle of Saragarhi. We were the first ones to talk about that topic. After that many unfortunate things happened and Sanjay was imprisoned. The script and the planning was then halted. Now, after years, we are again working on it."
We asked him that amidst the chaos of movies on the same subject, what different would be his directorial and he stated, "Yeah, I am aware that there are many movies being made on the same historical battle of Saragarhi and other great battles. But in my vision the script we had then is as good as a script that would work well today. Also, we are making a few amendments and reworking to make it better. Talking about other movies on the same line, I assure you that my vision to this battle is huge. I have been dreaming about making a movie like this. My vision for this battle is some what like the Hollywood movie 300. I want to make it on a huge scale and show the world what exactly was the battle of Saragarhi all about."
We further asked him about his movie's shoot and he said, "As I said, I am re-working on the script and making it better for the audience. Soon you shall be updated with more."
We look forward to Rohit's vision of Saragarhi and hope that he lives up to his words.
For more updates, keep coming back.
