“We Create Music. We Don't Simply Buy It" : Gurjot Singh - Founder, Being U Music
After Gippy Grewal’s Humble Music and the latest label that has shaken some serious floor is Being U Music, founded and launched by Gurjot Singh and Akshit Kumar. The label promises fresh and exciting stuff for the audience and here is what the team had to say when we asked them about their new venture.
Upon asking the founder Gurjot Singh about the venture, and the vision behind it, he stated, "We want to take Punjabi language to an international level. We want the world to recognize good Punjabi music and that is our label's prime motive. For the same reason, we have been tapping international artistes for collaborations so as to make music that can be recognized internationally.”
What makes you different than the other music labels in the market ?
Gurjot confidently said, “We create music. We don't simply buy it."
The first collaboration was with Dr Zeus, Zora Randhawa, Nargis Fakri and Snopp Dogg for Woofer. Any other artistes or collaborations you would like to reveal at the moment?
Our plans are big! We would like to announce our collaborations with other artistes as we release our projects.
