Sikh men have proved themselves to be fashion forward by featuring in the ads of top most international brands and here's yet another example that be it any country (friendly or non-friendly), Sikh models make a mark, wherever they go.

Taranjeet Singh, a model, recently walked the ramp of a Pakistani fashion show by designers Khadija and Ubaid Khan. Wearing a mustard and gold sherwani paired with matching saffron turban Taranjeet left the onlookers awe-struck.

He was accompanied by a female model who looked like a Punjabi bride on the ramp.

The organisers of the show announced that this theme will be introduced at future fashion shows to be held in Karachi, Islamabad and other places in Pakistan.

We all know that Sikhs are a minority in Pakistan but the religion has an extensive heritage and history in that country.  One of the most revered shrines of the community is located at Nankana Sahib, the birthplace of the founder of Sikhism, Guru Nanak Dev, in Pakistan’s Punjab province.
