Shruti Hassan To Play A Punjabi Girl In Her Next, Gains 8 Kgs For Her Role!
Upcoming film 'Behen Hogi Teri' will feature Rajkummar Rao with the beautiful Shruti Hassan, who will be seen playing a Punjabi girl in the movie.
To make her character convincing enough, the actress (who is a fitness freak) has put on a good 8 Kgs!
Her character will be known as Binny Arora who belongs to a food-loving family. To gain weight Shruti changed her exercise programme by cutting down on her pilates and weight training, and focused more on low intensity cardio workouts.
But don't think that she's still carrying those extra pounds!
She resumed her fitness regime immediately after completing the shoot for the movie.
Rajkummar and Shruti will be seen sharing screen space for the first time in the movie. Behen Hogi Teri is all set to hit the theatres on May 26, 2017.
