Punjabi singer Master Saleem has recently surrounded himself in a controversy. Actually the singer during a yearly programme at Baba Murad Shah had stated that while he visited the holy pilgrimage, Mata Chintpurni, the pujaris had asked him about the well-being of Baba Murad Shah.

The statement of singer had created quite a stir following which he visited the holy temple as a mark of an apology. He seeked blessings at the temple and sang bhajans.

Furtrhermore, the singer after pacifying the controversy sat down with the pujaris and released a video message. In the video, the pujaris can be heard saying Master Saleem has paid obeisance at the darbar to seek an apology. We’re glad that he came to bow down to mata rani. Have a look:

For the uninitiated, Master Saleem at Nakodar had stated, “Main chintpurni gaya, Mata Rani ke darshan kiye, pujari ji ne ache tareeke se darshan karvaye. Iske baad kehte aarti le lo, fir maine aarti le li. Iske baad unhone mujhe kaha ki aaiye baithte hain, fir unhone kaha ye to ho gayi maa ki baat, maa ne tumhe aashirvaad de dia, ab sunao mere peo da ki haal hai, yaani Baba Murad Shah ka kya haal hai.” This statement of Master Saleem did not go well with the public following which Master Saleem had to post an apology video on social media.

Master Saleem is recognised for singing several devotional songs and lending his voice in the Punjabi and Bollywood industry. He is accredited for tracks like, ‘Maa Da Laadla’, ‘Ahun Ahun’ amongst others.
