Popular Punjabi rapper-singer Yo Yo Honey Singh is celebrating his 40th birthday today. Though the day is already special for the rapper and his fans but a recent announcement has made it even more special.
Taking to his social media handle, the rapper has announced his Netflix documentary which will be produced by Oscar winning producer, Guneet Monga to be released under her production banner, Sikhya Entertainment.
The teaser of this Mozez Singh directorial shows Honey rapping about his life and reflecting on how far he’s come. Sharing the video teaser he quoted the post, “Singh-ing on top of our voices because Honey Singh’s latest documentary comes soon on Netflix! In the video shared, Honey in the voiceover states, “This life that God has given me, there's a depth to it. That reminds me of my younger self. I've told the world my story.” The teaser also shows clips from Honey’s performances on stage and features the singer inside the music studio.

Billed as a “bare-it-all docu-film”, the project will see Yo Yo Honey Singh deep-dive into life and sudden disappearance at the peak of his career that startled the industry and fans, garnering intense media attention. It will capture the rapper’s personal and professional journey, with behind-the-scenes moments straight from Hirdesh Singh, better known by his stage name Yo Yo Honey Singh, himself alongside sit-downs with his family members, friends and music collaborators who have been by his side through it all.
The documentary will premiere on Netflix later this year.
