Popular model turned actress Parul Gulati known for several Punjabi and Bollywood projects including ‘Romeo Ranjha’, ‘Burrraahh’ and several others recently made it to the finale episode of ‘Shark Tank India Season 2’.
The actress talked about her entrepreneurial journey while continuing her journey as an actor. Talking about her brand, Nish Hair, she revealed that the brand caters to different hair problems that women suffer such as hair loss, hair thinning, damaged hair etc. She said it’s also for those who like to experiment with their hairstyles. While pitching her brand to the sharks, the actress demanded an equity of Rs. 1 crore for 2% equity. In response to this, Sharks Vineeta Singh and Aman Gupta offered her the same amount for 3% while Amit Jain, the CarDekho co-founder decided to give her what she asked for. Meanwhile, the glimpse of the episode of the show was shared on social media, it irked many, for it was believed to be a ‘scripted’ show. The viewers criticised the show for featuring well-known actor in the show instead of highlighting struggling small entrepreneurs.
