Baani Sandhu had teased all her fans with the announcement of making her acting debut opposite Jayy Randhawa in ‘Medal’.

The story, screenplay and dialogues of the film are written by Jassi Lohka to be helmed by Maneesh Bhatt, known for directing performance driven films like ‘Panchhi’ and ‘Chobbar’. Backed by Desi Junction & Jassi Lohka, the poster suggests a high voltage action drama in the film with Jayy in yet another intense role. The tagline of the film, ‘Hankaar De Ilaaj Layi Sampark Karo’ makes it even more obvious that the film will revolve around ego clashes between two groups. What do you think?

Well, for a fact, only handful of Punjabi female singers have chosen the path of acting and proven their mettle. Now, let us hope Baani is yet another name that gets added on to the list with her debut project. Needless to say, Jayy is already known for his amazing acting skills.
