Sukhpreet Kaur, wife of Sarabjit Singh, an Indian National who died in a Pakistan jail in 2013, passed away on Monday.
It all happened when Sukhpreet Kaur accidentally fell from a two-wheeler near Fatehpur. She was a pillion rider. After the accident, she was taken to a nearby hospital where she breathed her last at 6:30 a.m. Also Read : From Arman Dhaliwal To Tarz Veer- Journey Of An Artist From Bathinda!

She is survived by two daughters, Poonam and Swapandeep Kaur.
“On September 11 (Sunday), my mother was to visit me in Jalandhar. She requested one of our neighbours, Rajwant Singh, to drop her at the Amritsar bus stand on his motorcycle. However, when Rajwant and my mother reached Fatahpur in Amritsar, she fell off the bike, and sustained severe injuries to her head and face”, revealed Swapandeep while talking to a leading daily.
The unfortunate news of her demise came nearly two months after the demise of her sister-in-law, Dalbir Kaur who had relentlessly fought for her brother’s release from Kot Lakhpat jail in Lahore. Also Read : G Khan Lands In Legal Trouble For Hurting Religious Sentiments
Sarabjit had died at the age of 49 after he was being attacked by the inmates of a Lahore prison in April 2013.
