1. Shaheed-e- Mohabbat Boota Singh

The 1999 movie is considered as one of the finest movies in not just Punjabi cinema but of the entire Indian Cinema in totality. This movie was in fact a milestone for the Punjabi movie industry. In this movie, Maan Sahab played the role of a retired military man Boota Singh alongside Divya Dutta who played the role of his wife. The movie was directed by Manoj Punj. Must watch!

2. Shaheed Udham Singh

In this Raj Babbar, Amrish Puri starrer movie, Maan Sahab essayed the role of Bhagat Singh. The movie is based on the life of Shaheed Udham Singh, whose character was played by Raj Babbar. 3. Waaris Shah - Ishq da Waaris

The Manoj Punj directed 2006 movie was based on the life of legendary poet Waaris Shah. In this movie, Maan Sahab played the central character of Waaris Shah alongside Juhi Chawla and Divya Dutta in vital roles. The movie won 4 awards at the 54th National Film Awards. Definitely worth watching!

4. Ucha Dar Babe Nanak Da

One of the earliest films in Maan Sahab's career, he played the role of Gurdit, a rebellious boy thrown out of his village. The 1985 movie's star cast was studded with actors like Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Priti Sapru, Tanuja, and Aruna Irani. The movie was directed by K. 5. Laung Da Lishkara
