By: Jasmine Singh | March 26, 2022

In recent years, as technology progresses, everything is becoming digital which has given rise to virtual assets and parallel spaces such as Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) and the metaverse. This year, Punjabi singer Daler Mehndi became the first Indian to perform and have his own space in the Indian version of the metaverse ‘PartyNite’.

The platform, created by Hyderabad-based game studio Gamitronics, also allows people to claim, mint, and sell playable digital collectibles also known as NFTs in order to make the Metaverse more interactive.
