The 'Paranda' singer Bilal Saeed, 28, appeared in the Lahore High court regarding his alleged involvement in a fraud and theft case, which was lodged at Raiwind Police Station.
He had applied for bail in the court but after hearing the arguments of both sides, Bilal's bail got rejected by the court.
The single bench comprising Justice Abdul Sami Khan heard the application. During the hearing, the petitioner’s counsel submitted that the Raiwind police had registered a Rs 60 million robbery case against the accused and others on the complaint of Rukhsana Bibi.
Instead of a hand over, the singer fled from the court with his companions.
Since the beginning of his career in 2011, Bilal Saeed has received various awards nominations in Pakistan, India and United Kingdom and is the only Pakistani to get nominated for PTC Punjabi Music Awards and Brit Asia Awards.
The singer gained fame through his debut single “12 Saal” in 2011. In 2012 he released his new single “Mahi Mahi” and debut album “Twelve” which received two nominations at PTC Punjabi Music Award for Best Non Resident Punjabi Album and Best Non Resident Punjabi Vocalist.
The album also featured Dr Zeus, Amrinder Gill and Fateh. A single “Khair Mangdi” from the album was nominated as Song of the Year at 13th Lux Style Awards.
