Popular Punjabi director Simerjit Singh earlier had announced his collaboration with Ammy Virk for his next which is titled, ‘Oye Makhna’. Apart from Ammy, the film will star Tania, Sidhika Sharma, Guggu Gill and others. Written by Rakesh Dhawan, this film will be made under the banners of Yoodlee Films, Simerjit Production and Ammy Virk Production.

Recently, the team has dropped the first look poster of the film which features Ammy Virk and Guggu Gill. The theme of the poster is quite vibrant and colourful.

Looking at the caption alongside the post, we can presume that Guggu will be playing Ammy’s uncle and that the film will also feature their camaraderie. Well, what exactly do makers bring will be revealed on November 04, the day ‘Oye Makhna’ will be releasing worldwide. The title and the video clip shared earlier made us speculate this one to be another romantic comedy on the way but while talking exclusively to GhaintPunjab Sidharth Anand, VP Saregama had shared that the film is a family comedy which was originally titled, ‘Chacha Bhateeja’ because film portrays a great bond between a ‘Chacha’ and his ‘Bhateeja’. But Ammy’s character who wants to eagerly get married falls in love with a girl whom he spots on the road but eventually comedy of errors makes it interesting. In fact, before this official announcement also, the team had shared several posts for their fans and followers hinting towards the project but the title was not revealed.

Well, now when most of the deets are disclosed it left us wondering that Ammy already had his back-to-back releases with ‘Aaja Mexico Challiye’, ‘Saunkan Saunkane’, ‘Sher Bagga’, ‘Bajre Da Sitta’ and now within a gap of four months we will have ‘Oye Makhna’ that too just after a film where audience has already witnessed Ammy-Tania together.
