Parmish Verma and wife Geet Grewal’s wedding pictures have been the highlight of the week. With pictures from all the functions of the wedding shared on the couple’s Instagram, fans have been congratulating and adoring the no longer Shada, Parmish Verma.
However, this extravagant Punjabi wedding did not sit well with the people of Surrey, Canada. A number of complaints have been filed against the singer. Surrey RCMP Media Relations Officer Vanessa Munn tells that they received “multiple noise complaints” stemming from the event. The wedding, which took place on 19th October, 2021, even had a Ferris Wheel which initiated discussion on Twitter after the news page Surrey Now-Leader tweeted this:
Not only for the loud music at 2.00 am, but Verma was also fined for not obtaining permits for large tents that were set up on the property. Both RCMP and bylaw officers are considering a number of fines as well. Bylaw officers will be issuing fines for zoning and building infractions, while Surrey RCMP is considering fines for violations related to the current COVID-19 public health orders. The singer had also posted a video of the venue on his Instagram while thanking everyone for their congratulatory wishes.
