Indo-Canadian film actor, television producer, entrepreneur and stuntman Rajat Bedi was in the news yesterday as he hit a man, who was identified as Rajesh Doot.
An FIR has been lodged against the actor in Mumbai's DN Nagar Police Station for hitting the man in Andheri, Mumbai. The victim, who is currently in the hospital, is in critical condition. According to the victim’s family, Bedi has promised to incur all the necessary charges. However, he left sometime later and did not return.
The doctor has shared the victim’s health update by saying, “His condition is too critical, as he sustained head injuries. He is in the ICU and on oxygen support. He urgently needs blood”.
As per the reports, the incident occurred around 6.30 pm on 6th September, when Bedi was driving and a drunk Rajesh Sood suddenly came in front of his vehicle. Bedi has worked on over 40 films, including ‘Koi…Mil Gaya (2003)’, ‘Rakht (2004)’, ‘Khamoshh... Khauff Ki Raat (2005)’ and ‘Rocky - The Rebel (2006)’. He also made his Pollywood debut in 2020 with director Smeep Kang's comedy film 'Gol Gappe', alongside famous actors Binnu Dhillon and B.N. Sharma!
