Punjabi singer Gurdas Maan has invited fresh trouble for himself after commenting on the Sikh gurus recently during a live stage performance in Nakodar.
An FIR has been registered against the veteran singer for hurting religious sentiments. The FIR has been registered in Nakodar under sections 295 A of IPC. Its is worthy to mention here that the man has been in news for his remark and even after posting an apology video on social media, nothing worked in his favour.
Sikh community has been agitating against him and some had even blocked roads to show their displeasure of the singer’s distasteful comment. They have been constantly insisting that legal action must be taken against Gurdas Maan or else the protest will be intensified. Gurdas Maan has been facing the heat of Punjabis ever since he made a comment on the overseas ground during a radio interview which irked the Punjabis placed globally.
But the recent incident happened when he referred the chief of a dera and Nakodar Sain Laddi Shah as one of the descendants of Guru Amardas ji and the video stormed the internet. Sikh community was quite angry on the singer’s statement and demanded his immediate arrest. For those who don’t know, Section 295 A of the IPC is a non-bailable offence. Here is the copy of the FIR.
